Servus, Gruess Gott, Guten Tag and Hello!
The myGermany podcast and this web-page are created and produced by me, Taural Rhoden, an American ex-pat who has been living on and off again in Germany since 1989.

yep, that’s me, Taural Rhoden
I am currently working as a management consultant in the automotive industry in Stuttgart, home of Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and smart. In 2006 I had the opportunity to do some freelance writing for a few travel guides (InYourPocket and DK Eyewitness Guide- Germany) and I fell in love with it.In fact I loved it so much I considered dropping my career as a consultant and giving travel writing and reporting a go. But, I am also a husband and father of three and I realized pretty quickly that dropping everything was neither practical nor responsible. So, I decided to venture out on my own and create this web-page and podast - an all-round travel, live, work, study, cross-cultural dialogs, etc. guide about Germany from the inside. You can see this page and the podcast as an adjunct to your typical travel guide, a la Rick Steves. Rick will tell you where to go and what things cost and I will give you the inside knowledge about how things work to make your trip to Germany (professional or for pleasure) more successful. That’s the idea at least.
Please let me know about what you think, your suggestions and critiques. I look forward to hearing from you.
yours,

Thoughts Aside:If you are looking for cheap flights, try the customized flight deals that are offered around the clock, on flights to boston as well as the new york flights. The domestic flights have been coming up with economical deals, which is indeed a huge relief.
